I got into rock painting this year.

I found rocks, and cleaned rocks, and started painting rocks, and picked out a hash tag for my rocks (#GeekMaeRocks). I did a comparison test of different metallic paints (which I plan to post about … eventually). I bought acrylic spray sealer and found my modge podge.

And … I didn’t quite get as far as finishing any of my rocks…

I had planned to have a bunch with the #DragonConRocks tag to hide at Dragon Con this year. Now, my flight is in less than 24 hours, so I don’t really have time to finish any.

I do have a few that have the year on them, so I’m sealing those with Modge Podge real quick, and I’ll take those, the rest will have to wait until next year…

I painted with a friend, so some of these are hers and some are mine.

I started off with a different hashtag, but then I realized it was hard to fit #GeekGirlMaeRocks on a rock.
