Besides cubicle decorating, my work also has a mini pumpkin decorating contest for Halloween. There tend to be a lot of cute entries, and didn’t really expect to win (I didn’t). Especially when two days before the contest I still didn’t have a plan.

I wanted to do something that tied in with my cubicle castle, so I started painting my pumpkin to match it. Then I realized I didn’t have enough time for that, so I dipped the whole pumpkin in the paint can. (it did take a while to dry…)

I made the roof out of three identical triangles hot glued together. I painted the roof to match the tower roofs. I drew the bricks and the door on with sharpie.
